Before you email — common fixes
Clips aren't being captured
- Check that microphone and camera permissions are granted: iOS Settings → SnoreCam → toggle Microphone and Camera on
- Confirm the monitoring session is actually started — the home screen shows "Listening" with a pulsing dot when active
- Make sure the phone is in a quiet enough environment that the mic isn't constantly triggered (some apps trigger from HVAC alone — adjust sensitivity in Settings)
Battery drained overnight
- Plug the phone in. SnoreCam is designed for plugged-in use.
- If you must run on battery: lower the trigger sensitivity in Settings, which reduces camera wake-ups
- Disable iCloud Photos sync if you don't need it on this phone
AI captions don't appear
- Check Settings → Smart Captions is enabled
- On older iPhones (pre-15 Pro), captions use a smaller model that may take longer to generate — wait 1–2 minutes after a clip is captured
- Captions don't write to a sidecar until the night's session ends — if you're checking mid-night they may not be there yet
Subscription / refund
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → SnoreCam. Refund requests go to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com — we have no access to your billing information.
I want to delete everything
Uninstall SnoreCam from your iPhone — that removes all clips and on-device data. To also wipe iCloud-synced preferences, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → SnoreCam → Delete Data.
